This is the first one-of-a-kind item in a series of sustainability projects I'll be releasing. Moving into my second year with Patreon, I'm happy to say all my tutorials will revolve around sustainability, up-cycling, and recycling goods and materials.
This first project focuses on making a fun costume piece using one of my favorite patterns (Simplicity 3685). The fabric and notions are resourced from Goodwill and a fellow sewer. This is the only one and you can buy it right here!
Garment ships with any extra fabric I have to (in case you need it). Complimentary Shipping within the US.
Fabric is a poly blend brocade. Vest is a poly cotton blend, and lining is a nylon/rayon blend. The vest velcros to the inside, allowing for an adjustable fit between sizes 4 - 8.
The jacket can be worn w/o the vest too!
